2024 US Ginetta Challenge Announced for North America
Ginetta is pleased to announce the launch of the Ginetta Challenge 2024 - North American Race Series!
The selected vehicle for this prestigious series is the Ginetta G56 GTA (detailed specifications can be found here).
Amy Tomlinson, Managing Director of Ginetta Cars, emphasized the success of the G56 GTA racecar, stating, "Ginetta has fostered a loyal customer base. With the introduction of this dedicated racing series, we aim to provide North American customers with an elevated level of support and service as we expand our brand beyond the UK."

In a strategic collaboration, Ginetta and Pirelli are also pleased to announce a new partnership, designating Pirelli as the official tire supplier for Ginetta Challenge racing events. Pirelli's global leadership in motorsport and endurance racing aligns seamlessly with Ginetta's commitment to motorsport excellence.
As part of this collaboration, Pirelli will provide a complimentary set of tires to each Ginetta driver who registers for the series by March 1st, 2024.
The series will consist of four race events alongside SpeedTour, with an additional local race at VIR. The schedule is as follows:

Mar 21-24: SVRA - Road Atlanta
May 17-19: HYPERFEST - Virginia International Raceway
June 20-23 SVRA - Mid Ohio
Aug 21-25: SVRA - Watkins Glen International
Oct 3-6: SVRA - Virginia International Raceway
Rules, format, and support plan
Race series is ten races total with two races per event
Points are awarded to each driver’s top eight race finishes with drivers allowed to drop 2 races
Ginetta will participate in run group 12 with a split start for the SVRA events
SpeedTour will live stream one race per event
Ginetta NA will support each race with parts truck and engineering support
Drivers will be allowed two new set of slicks delivered to the event
Ginetta NA will publish rule book in January, but expect the rule book to be based on racing a factory delivered car with no powertrain or suspension changes.
Prize Structure
Ginetta is offering a prize purse with $20,000 distributed to top 5 drivers and in addition the winner will be awarded a free race weekend in a Ginetta G56 GTA during the 2025 British race season

There will be testing opportunities for those interested at VIR on Feb 17 and 18th or at first SpeedTour event at Sebring on Feb 22 or 23rd.
