About Us

Founded in 1958 by the four Walklett brothers, Ginetta is a British sports racing car company founded over 60 years ago. The company was acquired by Le Mans winning entrepreneur, Lawrence Tomlinson in 2005. Ginetta has grown significantly in recent years to become a Motorsport Group providing racers, drivers and enthusiasts a comprehensive range of products and services.

Ginetta continues to design and develop world beating race car technology at its HQ near Leeds. This performance engineering is directly shared across all race cars and series including the new GT Academy car which has been designed by the same team as the Ginetta LMP1 car. With the majority of British sports car companies now owned by overseas investors, above all Ginetta remains proudly British, with a down to earth family ethos.

Ginetta has partnered with TMI Autotech, the US manufacturer of the iconic Ariel Atom based in South Boston, Virginia to serve as Ginetta North America.  Ginetta North America will support all North American market Ginetta cars from Virginia with a US based team.   Ginetta North America is a fully supported arm of the Ginetta factory based in the UK and has extensive resources to support all of its clients and represent this motorsport history rich brand.
